After struggling with my weight throughout my late teens and well into my 20s I decided to tackle my demons and started a regime to help me achieve my goals. Their were lots of trails and errors along the way, I fell into the trap of following information which was rigged with misconceptions, which at the time did not bother me; I was getting results, that is all that mattered. The journey by no means was smooth, I ended up losing myself and depressed. The stress of being a High School Science Teacher added to my troubles; I love the job not the workload.
Fast forward to my mid 20s. I took a lot of time to look back and reflect on the journey I had been on, from being an exercise junkie to struggling with an eating disorders.
Since, then I have managed to find stability and a balance with both exercise and nutrition. I am still working as a Science Teacher and enjoying it. I am also 10 years into my career as a Personal trainer and Fitness Instructor. As a professional my learning continues, I trained throughout my pregnancy as a result one of my specialisms in core and pelvic floor rehabilitation.
